This is a beautiful three-story log cabin with superb amenities. Sleep in our plush beds; enjoy satellite TV on a flat-screen television with surround sound; toast s’mores over the campfire; prepare a gourmet meal using our modern kitchen with new stainless-steel appliances; enjoy the quiet surroundings and wake up to the peaceful sounds of nature. Our cabin is pet-friendly, and we have a perfect backyard for dogs to run and play.

Retriever’s Retreat is pet-friendly, and we have a perfect backyard for dogs to run and play. There is also a stream in the backyard and down the hill.

The home is located in the town of Berkeley Springs, providing all of the convenience of a close-in location but still boasting a yard large enough for dogs and families to enjoy. After enjoying all of the activities Berkeley Springs has to offer, spend your evenings playing the piano, preparing dinner on the barbeque, relaxing with friends and family on the porches, and unwinding in the jetted tub.

“We enjoyed our stay at the house. It was very convenient to downtown Berkley Springs and shopping as well. The streaming NetFlix was great. I stayed with my family of 5 and we fit nicely. Cost was appropriate for the amenities offered. Enjoyed the Star Movie Theatre as well as the Roman baths and explored the surrounding area as well. Would definitely stay again if we are ever going back to Berkley Springs.”

“My husband and I stayed here in September, 2010. The owners were very helpful and provided information about what to do in Berkeley Springs. Claudio (the owner) did tell us that the home was on the main road and that the road does not have sidewalks so we did not expect the home to be in a quiet location or that we could walk to town. (It was really quick to drive though.) He also told us that the home was over 100 years old, and that they had just renovated it. The kitchen was well-equipped and the living room area was great (comfy chair and ottoman!). The movie collection (between the DVDs and Netflix) was such a nice feature. The house has board games and kids toys (though we didn’t use those). Too bad neither of us can play piano or we would have enjoyed using the one there. We only slept in one of the bedrooms, and we loved that bed and slept peacefully for the three nights we were there. For the price, the house was a great deal, and we look forward to coming back next summer, hopefully with a couple of our friends”

We offer free early check in as early as 10 a.m. and late check out as late as 8 p.m if it’s available. We will try our hardest to get you in as early as possible for check in and have as late as possible for your check out so you can enjoy the cabin.
